Crouse-Hinds series N2RS non-metallic enclosed switches are used in a rigid metallic conduit or cable system for surface mounting adjacent to or remote from equipment being controlled. Also used for individual motor control, when controlling motor, lighting and other circuits, and to prevent arcing internal to the enclosed switch from causing ignition of a specific hazardous atmosphere, or atmospheres.
